NEXT GEMS: Conor Bradley, The Heir To Alexander-Arnold's Right-Back Position?

Conor Bradley's stock has never been higher as the current Northern Ireland International sets his sights on regular first team football at club side, Liverpool.

The 20-year-old from Castlederg spent last season out on loan at League One side, Bolton Wanderers. A successful one at that as the young right-back racked up 7 goals & 6 assists in 53 appearances for The Wanderers - helping them clinch a playoff spot.

Bradley managed to lift the EFL Trophy whilst at the Toughsheet Community Stadium alongside winning a hat-trick of personal accolades; Bolton Player of the Year, Players' Player of the Year & Young Player of the Year.

He signed for Liverpool on a two-year scholarship programme back in 2019 but penned his first professional contract at Merseyside after impressing in his first year.

The right-back made his first senior professional appearance for the club against Norwich City in the Carabao Cup, becoming the first Northern Irish player to feature in a competitive game for Liverpool in almost seven decades.

This season could be big for Bradley with Trent Alexander-Arnold's imminent move into centre midfield leaving a potential open door for the Northern Ireland international to gain some regular minutes.

Klopp is known to give youth a chance at Anfield with recent graduates; Curtis Jones, Harvey Elliott & Stefan Bajčetić all featuring regularly last season.

There's currently no sign of Liverpool seeking a new right-back in the market this window as Klopp looks to fill the spaces in the middle of the park before looking elsewhere within his squad. Bradley & Joe Gomez are currently the only other options at right back for the German manager if it's expected that Alexander-Arnold does switch role.
